CHILDREN’S PARTY AT HOME

Is organizing a home-based children’s party difficult?

It might be challenging for some parents, yes. On the other hand, it is something you do for and with your child and thus you can think about it as a joint project, which allows you to spend time with your child and do and learn something together. And, we as a team of Birthday-Puzzle are here to help you. If you have doubts, please, Contact us.

Are 4 children enough or 10 is too much to invite?

Honestly, it all depends on how much you can handle. Organizing a birthday party requires attention, space and can be intensive. Thus, first discuss with your child and then think about how many children will be just enough to make it an amazing celebration and not ruin your home. Looking at our games and also based on experience with it 6 to 10 children should be the right amount.

I only have a small apartment, will I have enough space for a home-based escape room game?

Yes, you will. All the activities are designed in a way that every living room can accommodate it (if there is not a big enough child room). Each game is also accommodated with a description of what needs to be arranged by you prior and during the game. Please, read those details if you have any doubts as it might help you to better decide.  


CHILDREN'S PARTIES PREPARATION

How much in advance is it good to invite children to the party?

The sooner the better! It will help to have most of the friends your child wants as their calendars will likely still be free. Maybe your child can hand over a little card to invite friends? And for communication with parents you can use a whatsapp group.

What is typically the time and effort necessary to prepare for your children’s party?

It is good to have enough time in advance and not rush. We see that preparation for the game 5 days prior is sufficient. The average effort is about 4-6 hours. There is more in the section Useful Tips. Reading it, which will take you about 10 minutes, will give you a good view for your own planning. And, if you focus on it, you can also prepare relatively quickly. There are parents who have managed the preparation in 2-3 days. 

What can my child do to help me with the preparation of the party? 

Do not let them read the game script :-) Otherwise, they can do a lot of work from handing over the invitation cart, deciding on a goodie bag or taste of the cake. You can also involve them into the planning and discuss together how the time table will look like for instance. We are sure all children have something new to learn on such activity, be creative and have fun.

Are your games suitable for outdoor use also? 

In fact, yes. Some parents organize the party outside. For our games you only need a screen and connection to the internet and the Basic party kit. And if outside, also good weather ;-)

Is it possible to order the game and have the party already the next day?

 No, it’s not possible. It’s important to note that the game also includes physical materials, which will be sent to your home address after we receive your payment. These materials are essential for playing the game. It will take a few days for the package to arrive at your home address.

COST OF CHILDREN'S PARTIES

How much does it cost to organize a children’s party?

We have priced our parties to be first of all affordable to most families. And we also keep the prices much lower than any party outside your home. The home-based online birthday party or in general children’s party designed as an escape-room brings the advantage of using your own space for which you do not need to pay, buy food and drinks you can effort and like and do it yourself, so not pay other people's salary.

GAME KITS & SHIPPING COST

What do I get when I order a game?

Within 24 hours you will receive an email from us, which will confirm your order as well as provide you with all necessary information, the game script, unique code, which you use to log into the game, link to the game, etc. Few days prior the party you will receive any other items, so called Game Kit you need for the party day and for playing the game. Please, for details look at Useful Tips page, which provides general information or particular game pages for specific information related to the game.

What are the shipping costs?

The items necessary for playing the game are price is included in the price of the game. Concerning shipping costs of the Party Products, you can check the shipping costs during the purchase. Return shipping costs are on your own account. Please, refer to our Return Policy and Party Products pages for more details.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS AND TIMES 

We stick to the timeline of sending the email within 24 hours from the order (successful payment). Please, in case you have not received it, check first if you provided the right email address, if yes, check your spam folder. If you feel all is done by you correctly and still, you have not received anything, Contact us. 

What is the delivery time? 

For the initial email which you receive after you order the game, it will reach your email box within 24 hours after receipt of payment.
Orders for Party Products are shipped the latest the next working day after receipt of payment. These are typically delivered within a few working days. However, we rely on external shipping companies and cannot influence the exact delivery time. 

I want to receive Party Products faster, is that possible?

Please, Contact us and leave your phone number in the message. We will contact you to agree on details of the shipment. Please, be aware most likely there will be extra costs associated with express delivery above the normal shipping costs. 

USAGE OF THE GAME KIT

Can I use the Game Kit for more children's parties?

In fact the Game Kit is yours and you can use it as you want. Though buying a game is a one time event. The Unique Game Code will be blocked after 14 calendar days after the game purchase.  

Can I use the game for any other purpose than birthday children’s parties? 

The games are designed for private children's parties. They should not be used for public events, business purposes, companies, institutions, associations or other parties without our permission. In case you would like to use the game for any other purpose than a children's party, please, Contact us.

UNIQUE GAME CODES ISSUES

I have not received the Unique Game Code?

Please, check again in the email, you received after you ordered the game. It should be received by you within 24 hours. This email contains the Unique Game Code. In case you do not have this email anymore or you have not received it, please, Get a New Code immediately. 

The Unique Game Code does not work?

If you tried to use the Unique Game Code and you cannot access the game, please, use a form Get a New Code immediately. 

How long can I use the Unique Game Code?

Each code works for 14 calendar days from the date you have ordered the game. 

Can I get a new code during weekends and holidays?

Yes. Please, use the form Get a New Code. We will respond as soon as we spot your request.

Can I transfer the code to someone else? 

No, each code is supposed to be used for one birthday party only. We will see in the log of the game how many times the game was played and if we see too many usage, we can block the code and maybe then it will be the time you want to use it for your own party.

CHILDREN'S AGE FOR HOME ESCAPE ROOM PARTIES

What is the children’s age appropriate to Birthday Puzzle games? 

In our experience our games are suitable for children between 8-12 years old. The younger children sometimes need help from parents concerning some of the puzzles, but it does not limit the joy, fun and learning experience provided by the games.

PARTY PRODUCTS & RETURNS

I ordered a lower amount of Party Products then I have children at the end?

No problem, we will try to help you. Please, Contact us and leave us your phone number. We will connect with you as soon as possible to try to find a suitable solution. Hopefully we manage to deliver it to you on time. And if not, maybe you can use the packages you have and make a different mix of items to increase the number of packages? Or you can buy some candies and have two types of packages and let children choose, which one they like? 

The Party Product package is not complete or something is missing, what shall I do?

We are trying to take care of everything as well as shipment of our Party Products. We feel very sorry if anything is wrong with it. In such a case, pls contact us via our form and we will do our best to solve it quickly for you. 

The Party Products were not yet delivered?

The Party Products, which you can add during purchasing the game are shipped by standard post service, which takes several days typically. If you notice that a party package is taking a very long time to arrive, it is always wise to report this to us. We will then look at the status of the delivery together with our carrier. Please note that shipping during holidays always takes a little longer.

Can I organize the party without the Party Products? 

Yes, of course. You only need the so -called Basic Game Kit, which is included in the price of the game and shipped to you a few days prior to the game. Buying additional Party Products from our webshop is not mandatory. The Party Products are an addition, which you can buy if you find them interesting as for instance a goodie bag or so. 

I do not like the Party Products, what to do?

PARTY CANNOT HAPPEN

There is a real reason to postpone or cancel the party, can I change the date or get money back? 

Yes, of course. Even though we believe that once the game is purchased, all  is properly considered, we understand sometimes things change. In such a case, pls contact us via our Form and do not forget to leave your phone number. We will get in contact with you and discuss the details.
